Payment Processing
The UK Gift Specialist uses Sage Pay to handle online payments.
Sage Pay (previously Protx) uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Their internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, this ensures that no third parties can impersonate Sage Pay to obtain secure information.
Transaction Security
The transfer of less sensitive transaction details from the retailer’s site to Sage Pay is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Security for the Shopper
Any communication between the customer and Sage Pay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer's browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card, in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuer.
Data Storage
All data stored on Sage Pay systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Sage Pay is regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.
3D Secure - Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode
All transactions for 3D Secure cards have additional security. If 3D Secure applies to your card, you will be prompted for your password or, if you have not yet enrolled, you will be prompted to do so before you can complete the transaction.
Delivery
We take care in packing your order. Orders are dispatched using our chosen delivery company - currently Royal Mail - and should arrive within 3 days of the dispatch date. In many cases, items will arrive sooner.
Delivery to addresses on the UK Mainland, for orders greater than £25 in value, is Free of Charge.
Returns
If you are not fully satisfied with your goods, then you must advise us within 7 days of receipt of your purchase. The goods must then be received by us within 7 days of us issuing you with a Return Authorisation Number. You will be refunded the value of goods ordered. Any delivery charge is NOT refundable.
Damaged Goods
Goods are checked carefully prior to dispatch and packed appropriately. They should arrive in good condition. If any item arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately on 01698 711000. We shall discuss the matter with you and agree a course of action. Goods damaged in transit will be replaced without charge or a refund given on the return of the item(s).
